This Privacy Notice applies to personal information HOMEase Solutions, Inc. (“HOMEase,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects through this public website, HOMEase assessment experiences, project-related communications, and contractor or partner inquiries that link to this notice.
A separate contract or notice may apply when HOMEase provides a service through a healthcare organization, employer, insurer, or other enterprise partner. If a separate notice conflicts with this one, the more specific notice controls for that service.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact information, such as your name, email address, city, and preferred method of communication.
- Inquiry information, including whether you are a family member, contractor, partner, investor, or another interested party.
- Property and project information, such as room type, general location, concerns, priorities, and timing.
- Photos, descriptions, and other content you choose to submit for an assessment or project brief.
- Contractor information, such as business identity, service categories, service area, and credentials when enrollment is available.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security providers may collect limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, browser type, device type, request time, pages visited, and security or error logs. We do not currently use this public website to sell personal information or deliver targeted advertising.
Sensitive information
Photos and project descriptions may reveal accessibility needs, mobility equipment, or other personal context. Please submit only what is reasonably needed for the requested service and avoid including medical records, financial account numbers, government identifiers, or unrelated people in photos.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested support.
- Create photo-based guidance, assessment results, and project briefs.
- Route homeowner-authorized project information to eligible professionals.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve HOMEase services.
- Verify contractor eligibility and administer marketplace activity when those services are available.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and protect users, HOMEase, and others.
5. Photo and AI processing
HOMEase may use artificial intelligence service providers to analyze submitted photos and descriptions. Automated outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate and are used as an informational starting point. They do not replace an on-site inspection, licensed professional judgment, code review, medical advice, or emergency services.
We do not sell submitted photos or use them for advertising. If HOMEase proposes a materially different use of identifiable photos, such as a new model-development purpose beyond providing and improving the requested service, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required.
6. Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the service, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. Retention may vary by record type and the status of a project or account.
HOMEase uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we handle. No system can guarantee absolute security. Contact us promptly if you believe information submitted to HOMEase has been accessed or used without authorization.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, withdraw consent for optional future communications, or request a copy of information you provided. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when legally permitted or required.
Texas residents may have additional rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including rights to confirm processing, access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal data, and to opt out of certain sale, targeted advertising, or profiling. HOMEase does not currently sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. If we deny a privacy request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
